数字普惠金融、居民收入与城乡居民基本养老保险参保率

Digital Inclusive Finance,Residents'Income and Participation Rate of Basic Pension Insurance for Urban and Rural Residents

数字普惠金融凭借其高效而普惠的服务对居民的养老保障及参保缴费决策产生着重要影响。文章利用2012—2019年全国30个省(自治区、直辖市)的数据样本为面板数据,实证研究数字普惠金融对城乡居民基本养老保险参保率的影响及其影响渠道机制。研究发现:(1)数字普惠金融对参保率的影响呈现先抑制后促进的“正U型”关系;(2)地理区位异质性和收入分组异质性分析进一步表明数字普惠金融对中部地区省份及低收入省份参保率产生的影响最大;(3)渠道机制检验发现数字普惠金融通过影响居民收入作用于参保率,居民收入是数字普惠金融影响参保率的重要中介机制。文章结论为提升城乡居民基本养老保险参保率和筑牢社会养老保障安全网提供了政策启示。

Digital inclusive finance(DIF)has an important impact on residents'retirement security and participation of basic pension insurance with its efficient and inclusive financial services.Using China's provincial panel data from 2012-2019,this paper explored the impact of DIF on the participation rate of basic pension insurance for urban and rural residents as well as the impact mechanism.The results showed that a positive U-shaped relationship exists between DIF and participant rate.The analysis of geographic location heterogeneity and income group heterogeneity showed that DIF has the greatest impact on the participation rate of central China and low-income provinces.DIF affects the participation rate by means of affecting residents'income,which proves that income exerts a mediating effect between DIF and participation rate.This research can be instructive in policy-making for improving the participation rate and building a solid safety net for social pension security.
