文化翻译理论视角下的微视频字幕的翻译批评——以《中国范儿》中的生态文化负载词翻译为例

Translation Criticism on Short-video Subtitles from the Perspective of Cultural Translation Theory:——A Case Study of the Translation of Ecological Culture-loaded Words in Feel of China

翻译不仅涉及语言,更涉及文化。在中国文化“走出去”大背景下,对翻译中文化等值的实现,翻译文化交流目的达成的分析与评价,应成为翻译批评的一个重要方面。文章以文化翻译理论为指导,从译者翻译目的、翻译方法及需考虑的观众对象三个方面,对文化传播新渠道之一的文化传播类微视频字幕中的生态文化负载词翻译进行综合评价。翻译的文化传播目的及对译语观众的考虑决定了译者应采用归化为主的翻译方法,以更好促进中国文化对外传播。

Translation involves not only languages but also cultures.In the context of Chinese culture“going out”,the analysis and evaluation of the realization of cultural equivalence in translation and the achievement of the purpose of translation i.e.cultural communication should become an important aspect of translation criticism.Guided by cultural translation theory,this paper makes a comprehensive evaluation of the translation of ecological culture-loaded words in the subtitles of cultural-transmission short-video,one of the new channels of cultural transmission,from three aspects:the translator’s translation purpose,translation methods and target audience.The cultural transmission purpose of translation and the consideration of the target audience determine that the translator should adopt domestication-oriented translation methods in order to better promote the transmission of Chinese culture.
