Based on the new situation of social development, more and more people begin to pay attention to the ecological environment protection. With the accelerating pace of urbanization construction in China, urban water pollution has become increasingly serious, which affects the physical and mental health of the public to a certain extent, and is not conducive to the harmonious and healthy development of China’s ecological and economic construction. The scientific and standardized application of microbial agents, as the top priority of the sewage treatment process, is an indispensable key content, which can effectively degrade various organic pollutants in the sewage and help people comprehensively improve the sewage treatment effect. The paper further analyzes and discusses the microbial agents and their application in sewage treatment, aiming to provide relevant reference for mastering effective bacterial agent construction methods.
