Research progress of MRI radiomics in assessing extracapsular extension of prostate cancer

前列腺癌(PCa)的包膜外侵犯(ECE)是影响PCa病人治疗方案和预后的重要因素,MRI影像组学对其诊断和评估具有重要作用。传统的临床-病理风险因素的预测或医学影像的宏观特征分析对评估ECE的临床应用价值有限。影像组学以客观定量的方式将医学图像转化为数据特征,已广泛应用于PCa的检测、分级及侵袭性预测等方面。就MRI影像组学应用于PCa的ECE的研究进展进行综述。

The extracapsular extension(ECE)of prostate cancer(PCa)is an important factor in the treatment options and prognosis of PCa patients.MRI radiomics plays an important role in the diagnosis and evaluation of ECE.The prediction of traditional clinical-pathological risk factors or analysis of macroscopic characteristics of medical images has limited clinical application value in the evaluation of ECE.Radiomics,which converts medical images into data features in an objective and quantitative way,has been widely used in the detection,grading and prediction of aggressiveness of PCa.This paper reviews the research progress of MRI radiomics applying in ECE of PCa.
