ESA视角下的英语阅读教学与大学生跨文化能力培养

英语学习中,由于受到传统应试教育的影响,多数学生都仅仅追求英语的卷面分数,却未能重视其文化背景及蕴含的价值观念。所以,在大学英语教学中,教师应注重拓展文化方面的知识,拓宽学生的文化视野,帮助学生提高跨文化能力、英语应用能力以及跨文化交流道德。阅读教学是英语教学的重点环节,文章站在ESA视角,主要探讨大学英语阅读教学和跨文化能力的培养,以供同行参考,为社会输送更多英语实用型人才。

In English learning, due to the influence of traditional correspondence education, most students only pursue the test scores of English, but fail to pay attention to their cultural background and values. Therefore, in college English teaching, teachers should pay attention to broaden cultural knowledge, broaden students’ cultural horizons, help students improve cross-cultural ability, English application ability and cross-cultural communication ethics. This paper, from the perspective of ESA, mainly discusses the teaching of reading and the cultivation of cross-cultural competence in order to provide more practical English talents for the society.
