The Application of VR Technology in Maritime Supervision

通过介绍虚拟现实原理、技术特点及国内外应用案例,从海事执法人员模拟教学、船员考核、远程模拟开箱查验、航海保障、海事调查及模拟应急演练等6个方面指出虚拟现实技术在海事管理领域的应用前景,并提出虚拟现实技术在海事安全监管应用过程中面临的问题及对策,为虚拟现实技术与海事监管有效结合提供参考。

This paper introduces the principle,technical characteristics and application cases of Virtual Reality(VR)at home and abroad,and indicates the prospect for the application of VR technology in the domain of maritime administration from six aspects,including simulated teaching of maritime law-enforcement personnel,crew assessment,remote simulated opencontainer inspection,navigation service,maritime investigation and simulated emergent drill.It also puts forward the problems and countermeasures of VR technology on its application in maritime safety supervision and provides reference for the effective integration of VR and maritime administration.
