In order to adapt to the development of intelligent navigation in the 5G era and promote the optimization and upgrading of visual aids to navigation,the paper proposes the new concept of AR aids to navigation and elaborates on the feasibility and practicality based on in-depth research and analysis of the development status of augmented reality technology both domestically and internationally,taking into consideration the practice in the process of navigation service.
