China's Top Legislature,Political Advisory Body Start Annual Sessions The 14th National People's Congress(NPC),China's national legislature,opened its first session at the Great Hall of the People,in Beijing,on March 5.The session will last until March 13.Of the 2,977 NPC deputies,790 are women,accounting for 26.54 percent of the total,an increase of 1.64 percentage points over the 13th NPC.
