人文社会科学研究的语料库语言学路径

语料库语言学已广泛应用于传播学、文学、历史学、政治学、社会学、心理学、法学等诸多人文社科领域。本文以热点事件传播、诗歌解读、网民心愿、法律诉讼等案例,展示了语料库语言学理念在传播学、文学、心理学和法学中的应用。各人文学科都有可能跟语料库语言学结合。语料库语言学能为各学科提供真实语言素材、量化工具和方法,对人文社科现象进行概率呈现,以及对意义进行语境化刻画。这一研究路径既能促进对人文社科大数据的量化描写,也能促成一定的理论创新。

Corpus linguistics has been extensively adopted in the research of mass communication,literature,history,politics,sociology,psychology,law etc.The present paper demonstrates the applicability of corpus linguistics in mass communication,literature,psychology and law with the cases of the media coverage of hot social issues,the interpretation of poetry,the netizens’social needs,and legal transactions.Technically,all disciplines of humanities and social sciences are compatible with corpus linguistics.At the core of such application are the great amount of authentic language data,quantitative tools and methods,probabilistic claims about social facts,and contextualised representation of social meaning.The corpus linguistic approach to humanities and social sciences enables quantitative description of social big data on the one hand,and facilitates theoretical innovation on the other.
