目的论视角下的字幕翻译研究——以《水形物语》为例

影视剧是人类精神活动的产物,同时还反映着不同地区的文化与语言。国外优秀影视作品的引进必然少不了字幕翻译的环节,而字幕是观众理解影视作品的重要渠道。优秀的字幕翻译不仅可以拓展观众视野,还可以促进文化的交流与互动。文章从目的论的视角出发,以电影《水形物语》为例,对不同版本的字幕译文进行对比研究,分析总结字幕翻译的策略以及需要注意的问题,以此为其他译者提供借鉴,提高字幕翻译的质量。

Film and TV drama are the product of human spiritual activities, which show the culture and language of different regions. It’s necessary to translate subtitle when introducing excellent foreign films and TV dramas. Subtitle is an important channel for audiences to understand film and television works. Excellent subtitle translation can not only expand the audience’s vision, but also promote cultural exchange and interaction. From the perspective of Skopos theory, taking The Shape of Water as an example, this paper conducts a comparative study of subtitle translations of different versions, analyzes the strategies of subtitle translation and summarizes the problems that should be paid attention to, so as to provide references for other translators and improve the quality of subtitle translation.
