英译汉机器翻译在多类型文本上的表现、解决方案与启示

随着机器翻译的普及,人工翻译将变成历史,随之而来的将是更大的风险出现。如果机器翻译出现错误,以机器翻译的速度来衡量,后果可谓是差之毫厘,谬以千里。所以机器翻译的研究随着机器翻译的应用而不断发展,机器翻译研究所涉及的点很多,所覆盖的面也很广,从词汇到句法、语义和篇章结构、文化因素、语料库等几乎一应俱全,本研究将以多种文本对比,从一个更大的面来探讨机器翻译的结果,寻找一些基于文本差异而产生的特点和规律,为机器翻译后编辑提供实践上的参考。

With the popularization of machine translation, manual translation will become out-dated, which will also bring greater risks. If there are mistakes in machine translation, the consequences will be described as one false step, which will make a great difference measured by the speed of machine translation. There are many points involved in machine translation research, and it covers a wide range, from vocabulary to syntax, semantics and text structure, cultural factors, corpus and so on. This study will discuss the results of machine translation from a larger perspective by comparing various texts, looking for some characteristics and laws based on text differences, and providing practical reference for editing after machine translation.
