基于空间激活的武汉保成路社区入口改造

The renovation of entrances to the surrounding community on Baocheng Road Wuhan based on spatial activation

随着城市多元化发展,老旧街区日益增多,现有街道空间品质已不能满足居民生活需求。疫情爆发后,居民活动半径相应缩短,街区成为矛盾的爆发点。在此背景下,街道空间质量亟待提升。通过调查与研究,改造设计以保成路社区出入口作为切入点,运用显性激活、“Parklet”等设计策略,用以点带线的方式激活街区惰性空间、改善街道品质,进而达到激活街道空间、提升居民生活质量、优化街道经济的目的。有益于后疫情时代下我国在老旧街区的保护与发展。

With the diversified development of urban diversification,the quantity of old blocks increases gradually,but the quality of public spaces in old blocks cannot meet people’s demands in their daily life.Especially after the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic,many residents’activities are restricted in their community area,so people urgently need more public spaces and better street spaces in their communities.Based on the field survey,we choose to redesign several community entrances of Baocheng Road in Wuhan.The design strategy of explicit activation and parklet is adopted to activate the inert space of blocks and improve the quality of street spaces simultaneously.Furthermore,it can also improve residents’life quality and optimize street economy.We hope our work can provide a case study for the redevelopment of old city blocks in the post-epidemic era.
