张爱玲小说的电影改编历来受文艺界重视,近来电影版《第一炉香》在内地上映后引起了众声喧哗。电影与小说原著在人物形象塑造、情节设置、心理刻画等方面有所差异,这种改编必然带来相应的得失,这是影视改编必须承担的后果。此次改编实现了色彩和声音层面的精细,但也在某些程度上带来了人物和主题的偏移。以个案分析为基础描述影视改编的得失,深入分析其影响因素,为更多经典文学作品的影视化提供思路和视角借鉴。

The film adaptation of Eileen Chang’s novel has always been valued by the literary and art circles,but recently the film version of The First Incense has caused a public uproar after it was released on the mainland.The film and the original novel are different in terms of character image shaping,plot setting,psychological portrayal,and etc..So this adaptation will inevitably bring corresponding gains and losses,which is the consequence that film and television adaptations must bear.The adaptation achieves a fine level of color and sound,but also brings some deviation in characters and themes.Based on case analysis,this paper describes the gains and losses of film and television adaptation,and analyzes its influencing factors in depth,so as to provide ideas and perspectives for the film and television adaptation of more classic literary works.
