浅析圈养老年大熊猫的饲养管理方法

A brief analysis of feeding and management methods of aged giant panda in captivity

随着圈养大熊猫(Ailuropoda melanoleuca)饲养条件改善和饲养管理技术提升,大熊猫的寿命越来越长,但圈养老年大熊猫的饲养问题也愈发明显。因此,依据圈养老年大熊猫的生理特质,针对性地研究圈养老年大熊猫的饲养管理方法,对保持圈养大熊猫种群福利及维持种群整体健康水平具有重要的现实意义。中国大熊猫保护研究中心(以下简称熊猫中心)拥有40年饲养大熊猫的历史,积累了丰富的大熊猫饲养经验。文章从熊猫中心圈养老年大熊猫的饲养环境、饲料与个性化饲喂方法、日常管理等方面的饲养管理经验与技术进行总结,探索圈养老年大熊猫饲养管理方法。

With the improvement of breeding conditions and management technology of captive giant panda(Ailuropoda melanoleuca), the life span of giant panda is getting longer and longer, but the problem of feeding the elderly captive giant panda is becoming more and more obvious. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to study the breeding and management methods of captive elderly giant pandas according to their physiological characteristics in order to maintain the welfare of captive giant panda population and the overall health level of the population. The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda(hereinafter referred to as the Panda Center) has a 40-year history of breeding giant pandas, and has accumulated rich experience in panda breeding. The paper summarizes the breeding management experience and technology of captive elderly giant pandas in the panda center in terms of breeding environment, feed,personalized feeding methods, daily management and so on, and explores the breeding management methods of captive elderly giant pandas.
