摘要 “教什么”和“怎么教”是教育理论与实践的基本问题;而“为何而教”与“为何而学”更是当前亟需回应的时代命题。联合国教科文组织大力倡导的可持续发展教育是实现可持续发展的教育应对,解答了“为何而教/学”的重大命题。可持续发展教育作为一种“教育理念”“教育思维”“教育方法”“教育目标”“教育变革”,在人文主义教育观的助力下,引领教育发展;并要求教育以整体的、深层次的眼光进行改造,以建设性的方式对教育系统重新定向。 "What to teach"and"how to teach"are the basic issues of educational theory and practice,but"why to teach"and"why to learn"are the contemporary propositions in urgent need of response.Education for sustainable development vigorously advocated by the United Nations.It is the educational response to achieve sustainable development,which answers the important proposition of"why to teach/learn".Education for sustainable development is a kind of"educational philosophy","educational mindset","educational method","educational goal"and"educational reform".Under the guidance of educational view on humanism,it leads the development of education.It also requires education to be reformed from holistic and deep-seated perspective,and to redirect the education system in a constructive way.
