By using the methods of literature analysis,logical analysis and case analysis,this paper discussed the value,experience and practical path of mass sports events to promote rural revitalization.The value of mass sports events in promoting rural revitalization is refl ected in implementing national fi tness to help build healthy rural areas,promoting cultural prosperity to help build civilized villages,and driving the revitalization of industries to help build rich rural areas.Experience:It gives full play to the supporting role of government departments,implements the people-oriented concept of hosting competitions,bases on regional resources and conditions endowments,and leads the integration of events to drive development.Path:We should follow the guidance of ideas,make overall plans,and strengthen the supporting role of government departments.We should encourage the villagers to discuss,participate and share,and implement the people-oriented concept of holding competitions.We should base on the reality,highlight the characteristics,and implement the strategy of running the competitions in accordance with local conditions.We should also give full play to the leading role of the competition to help the development of rural industrial economy.
