With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, the public’s demand for knowledge acquisition and knowledge application is constantly improving. Under this background, China has constantly increased the construction of library infrastructure to meet the needs of readers for book borrowing and material reading. In today’s information wave, how to provide effective and correct information resources for readers and improve reader satisfaction has become an important issue faced by libraries. The application of data mining technology has changed the management and service work of the library from passive to active, and has provided strong support for the work of the library. This paper expounds the library work and the relevant connotation of data mining technology, introduces the application advantages of data mining technology in the library, analyzes on the main problems faced by the library in the new era, and probes into the application paths of data mining technology in the library.
