The Contemporary Value of Chinese Traditional Probity Culture and Its Realization Path

中华传统廉洁文化是中华传统文化中关于廉洁价值观念与行为规范的文化部分,本质上具有政治伦理、道德修养和社会价值等属性,具有丰富的文化内涵和时代价值。在新的时代背景下,传统廉洁文化要获得长久的生命力必须适应新的时代语境。文章从筑牢清正廉洁的思想道德防线、坚定执政主体的政治立场和廉洁社会生态培育等方面挖掘传统廉洁文化的当代价值,提出通过挖掘传统廉洁文化蕴含的伦理道德资源,发挥传统廉洁文化的基础教育作用,推动廉洁家风建设以及建立全民共建共享的新时代廉洁文化建设等有效途径去实现传统廉洁文化的价值功用。

The traditional Chinese culture of probity is a cultural system of values and behavioral norms regarding probity in the historical process of Chinese cultural development,carrying the attributes of political ethics,moral cultivation and social values in essence as well as rich cultural connotations and values of the times.In the new historical background,the traditional culture of probity shall adapt to the new context in order to gain longevity,and excavate the contemporary value of traditional probity culture in terms of constructing a firm ideological and moral defense of integrity,holding firm belief in the political stance of the ruling body,the cultivation of a clean social ecology.Thereby,moral principles contained in the traditional probity culture are capable of performing its primary educational function,promoting the construction of probity-based family tradition and building up an effective path of joint construction and sharing cultural development for probity in the new era.As a result,the functional value of traditional probity culture can be realized and new vitality can be infused into the construction of probity culture in the new era.
