Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen made an official visit to China from February 9 to 11.Hun Sen was the first foreign leader to visit China after the Chinese New Year of 2023.His trip also coincided with the third anniversary of his last visit to Beijing when the Chinese people were fighting the outbreak of COVID-19 in the beginning of 2020.Both sides regarded Hun Sen’s visit as tremendously important because this year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of China-Cambodia diplomatic relations and has been designated the“Year of China-Cambodia Friendship.”
