Animal medicine is a quite high theoretical and practical subject.Under the background of the new agricultural science,the effective ways and measures to standardize teaching activities and improve teaching level includes adhering to the “four returns”,doing a good job in professional certification and evaluation,and improving the ability of social services.The present article makes a comprehensive and systematic discussion on the main significance,basic principles,construction of index system and implementation measures of professional certification of animal medicine so as to provide the reference basis for comprehensively implementing the professional certification and enhancing teaching quality.
