互联网使用对就业质量的影响——基于社会资本、人力资本的视角

Research on the Impact of Internet Use on Employment Quality——From the Perspective of Social Capital and Human Capital

高质量就业是实现共同富裕的远景目标之一。数字经济的快速发展持续影响着劳动力市场的就业结构,就业矛盾也从数量型转向质量型。利用2012—2018年中国综合社会调查数据实证分析互联网使用对就业质量的影响及其传导渠道,研究发现,互联网使用可以促进就业质量的提升,且对不同维度就业质量的影响依然显著;互联网使用通过增加社会资本、人力资本投资进而提升就业质量;就业质量的促进效应对东部地区、低龄男性劳动力更加显著。应进一步扩大互联网普及率,注重提升劳动者互联网使用技能,以实现更高质量就业。

High-quality employment is one of the long-term goals of achieving common prosperity.The rapid development of digital economy continues to affect the employment structure of the labor market,and the employment contradiction is also shifting from quantitative to qualitative.Using the data of China General Social Survey from 2012 to 2018,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of Internet use on employment quality and its transmission channels,and draws the following conclusions through the robustness test:Internet use promotes the improvement of employment quality,and the impact on different dimensions of employment quality is still significant;The transmission mechanism shows that Internet use can improve the quality of employment by increasing social capital and human capital investment.In terms of heterogeneity,the promotion effect of employment quality is more significant for the younger male labor force in the eastern region.Therefore,we should further expand the Internet penetration rate and focus on improving workers’Internet use skills to achieve higher quality employment.
