During the years of the middle and late 1970s, Gu Xingyun wrote frequently to professor Zhong Jingwen, his university teacher and a famous folk literature expert, because of his research on Lu Xun and the compilation of related materials.Zhong Jingwen’s twenty letters to Gu Xingyun during 1975 and 1976 were provided and sorted out by Mr.Gu Xingyun himself, which have important literature value and academic significance.Mr.Gu xingyun makes necessary brief notes on the relevant literary and historical details in the letters, which can help scholars understand the contents of the letters.
