中华民族共同语:概念形成与地位功能演进

The Common Language of the Chinese Nation:The Establishment of Its Concept and the Development of Its Status and Functions

中华民族共同语指现代汉语标准语及其变体。这一概念是在多民族融合和语言接触背景下,在汉民族共同语的基础上形成的。它具有汉民族共同语、中华民族共同语、国家通用语、国际通用语四位一体的重要语言地位。中华民族共同语建设,不仅具有铸牢中华民族共同体意识,增进海内外华人的文化认同感、中华民族认同感和国家认同感的社会文化功能,也具有促进两岸统一和提高国家语言能力的重要功能。长期以来,在中华民族共同语建设方面,海峡两岸有着共同的努力方向,加强这一建设,必将在祖国统一过程中发挥无可替代的凝聚人心的功能,从而在提升国家语言能力的同时提升国家综合实力,加速国家统一和中华民族复兴进程,任何企图削弱这种功能的图谋都注定是会失败的。

The common language of the Chinese nation(CLCN)refers to the standard Chinese and its variations.This concept has its roots in the concept of the common language of the Han people against the background of national amalgama⁃tion and language contact.It has language status as the common language of the Han people,the common language of Chi⁃nese nation,a national lingua franca and one of international languages with quaternity attributes.The construction of CLCN has important functions not only in strengthening the sense of the Chinese nation community,the sense of cultural identity,the Chinese nation identity and the national identity for Chinese at home and abroad,but also in promoting reunification across the Taiwan Strait and in enhancing the national language capacity in the new era.In this construction,the Chinese mainland and Taiwan have long shared a common direction of endeavors.Consolidating CLCN construction will play an irre⁃placeable role in unifying hearts and minds and thereby enhancing national comprehensive strength in the course of bolste⁃ring national language capacity and accelerating reunification across the Taiwan Strait.Any attempt to weaken this role is doomed to fail.
