摘要
蒲松龄在《聊斋志异》中搭建起了以“专有名称”、“行为事件”与“代称称谓”命题法为核心的篇名命名体系,以此为小说集松散的文本赋予了凝合之力。同时,《聊斋志异》中不同小说的题名对内容的彰显、小说应题的时机以及文本间的以题相聚,都反映了小说文题间的有效互动。此外,创作手稿能够揭示题名在小说编创流播过程中的异动情况。《聊斋志异》手稿本的题名更迭状况复杂,或非一人一时之举,然多数题名修正皆展现了修改者为完善小说集之篇题所做出的努力。
In Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio,Pu Songling names the short stories according to“proper names”,“events”and“nicknames”,which creates a cohesive link between the loose texts of the collection.At the same time,the different story titles manifesting the contents of each story,the timing of texts responding to the story titles,and the link between short stories established by titles reflect an effective interaction between story titles and texts.In addition,the manuscript reveals the changes in the story titles in the writing process.The dynamic evolution of the story titles as seen from the manuscript of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio is complicated and might not have been done by one person at a time.However,most of the title revisions show the efforts made by the editors to improve the title of the collection.
