Peripateticism:affinities between Zhuangzi and Henry David Thoreau

美国超验主义思想者、作家亨利·大卫·梭罗或隐或显地受到庄子的影响。从互文性研究视角入手探讨《庄子·内篇》与《瓦尔登湖》的文本关系:在人天(自然)关系上,两者皆持有物我交融的自然观念,追求人与自然的和谐;在人生境界上,两者均提倡返璞归真,追求无执无宥、顺化而逍遥的心造之境。两个文本在更广大的文本网系中呈现互文共生关系。

Henry David Thoreau,an American transcendentalist thinker and writer,was implicitly or explicitly influenced by Zhuangzi.From the perspective of intertextuality,the textual relationship between Zhuangzi Nei Chapters and Walden Pond is discussed.In the relationship between man and heaven(nature),both of them hold the natural concept of the integration of matter and self,and pursue the harmony between man and nature.In the realm of life,both advocate a return to the pure and true,the pursuit of the same life philosophy that the"you"(wander)of spirit is the ultimate way to release human being from secular world.The two texts present an intertextual symbiosis in the wider text network.
