Research On the Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Infiltrating Higher Vocational English Teaching

长期以来,在高职高专的英语教学活动中往往注重各种技能的培养,而忽视了中国传统文化的融入。中华优秀传统文化是中华民族的精神命脉,在英语教学过程中,英语教师不仅要培养学生的英语技能,传授西方文化,也应该将中国优秀传统文化融入进来,使学生对中西方文化有较为客观的认识,提高学生的文化素养,增强学生的文化自信,提高学生的跨文化交际能力。

The training of all kinds of skills has been payed importance on while traditional Chinese culture has been ignored for a long time.Chinese traditional culture is the spiritual lifeblood of the Chinese nation.In the English course,teachers don’t only cultivate the students’English skills and impart Western culture,but also infiltrate traditional Chinese culture.By doing this,the students can have an objective knowledge about Chinese and Western culture and improve their cultural literacy.In addition,the students’cultural confidence can be strengthened and their cross-cultural communication competence can be enhanced.
