The Core and Communication Discourse:Telling the Story of Chinese-Style Modernization

党的二十大明确提出:从现在起,中国共产党的中心任务就是团结带领全国各族人民全面建成社会主义现代化强国、实现第二个百年奋斗目标,以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴。讲好中国式现代化的故事是新发展阶段中国国家叙事的重点所在,它兼具内塑与外塑的功能:对内,可以增强全民凝聚力;对外,可以外展国家形象力,这些都为中华民族伟大复兴创造积极条件与发展环境。文章从“全新”“全民”“全面”“全局”四个方面概括了新发展阶段中国式现代化的故事内涵,并从“变与不变”“同与不同”“化解不和”三方面,探讨了新发展阶段中国式现代化传播话语的基底。媒体传播中只有准确把握中国式现代化在新发展阶段的故事内核与传播话语,才能准确地回答时代之问,解决受众之惑,为中国式现代化创造有利的国内国际舆论环境。

The Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly states that from now on,the central task of the CPC is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups to comprehensively build a great modern socialist country,achieve the second centenary goal,and forge ahead to advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts.Telling Chinese modernization story well is the focus of China’s national narrative in the new development stage.It has both internal and external functions:internally,it can enhance the national cohesion;externally,it can enhance our international image,which will create positive conditions and development environment for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The article summarizes the core story of the Chinese-style modernization in the new development stage from four aspects:"completely new","the building and sharing by the whole nation","comprehensive and coordinated development"and"overall picturing and systematic solution".Then the article discusses the discourse we might choose when we try to tell Chinese-style modernization story well in the new development stage from three aspects:"change and unchanged","same and different",and"harmony and break the disharmony".Only by accurately grasping the core of the story and communication discourse can the media accurately answer the questions of the times,solve the doubts of the audience,and create a favorable domestic and international public opinion environment in the new journey of building Chinese modernization.
