跨媒介研究的理论与方法

Intermedia Studies: Theories and Methods

21世纪以来,随着新科技与数字化的快速发展,跨媒介的现象日渐普遍,跨媒介研究逐渐成为一个重要的学术领域,取得了一些有影响的研究成果。跨媒介研究不能只注重跨媒介现象的形式分析,而是要将跨媒介现象问题化,将跨媒介的形式与相关的人文议题紧密结合起来。研究的目的不是为了证明跨媒介形式的存在价值和适用性,而是要借助适当的研究方法揭示形式和内容之间的互动和统一。关于跨媒介性有不同的解释和分类,目前倾向于将它划分成四种主要类型,分别是跨媒介混合、跨媒介指涉、跨媒介转变,以及超媒介性。结合一些典型的跨媒介文学与艺术的作品分析,从理论的角度对每一种跨媒介类型加以比较细致的介绍。

Since the beginning of the 21st century,due to the rapid development of new technology and digitalization,intermedia phenomena have become more and more common.Thus,intermedia studies have developed into an important subject,and generated influential research output.Intermedia studies should not only focus on analysis of the form of intermedia phenomena,but rather have those issues problematized and integrated with relevant concerns of humanities.Intermedia studies should not aim to prove the value and applicability of intermedia forms,but should instead reveal the interaction and unity between form and content by proper research methods.Despite academic disputes concerning its definition and categories,this paper sorts intermediality into four types,namely,intermedia hybridity,intermedia reference,intermedia transformation,and super-mediality.Based on in-depth analysis of some typical intermedia works of literature and art,this paper offers a detailed introduction to each intermedia type from theoretical perspective.
