摘要
语言使用涉及语言接口(如句法与语义接口)和语言与非语言层面的接口(如句法与认知加工接口)。学习一门新的语言需要对这些接口进行整合,以确保所学语言能够正确流利得体使用,而如何弥合接口便成为二语学习和教学不可回避的问题。本文针对二语习得研究领域多年来备受关注的接口假说,分析接口的成因,提出解决接口学习问题的思路,认为“续”具有对接、拓展功能,可有效黏合语言使用各层面间的接口。
Language use involves linguistic interfaces(e.g.the syntax-semantics interface)and linguistic/non-linguistic interfaces(e.g.the syntax-cognition interface).Learning a new language needs to connect interfaces so as to ensure its accurate,fluent and appropriate use.How to make these connections constitutes an unavoidable task that L2 learning and teaching have to tackle.In light of the interface hypothesis that has received considerable attention in SLA research over the past years,this article sets out to analyze the factors that give rise to interfaces,suggests solutions to the interface learning problem,and contends that xu(or extend),which is capable of performing connecting and extending functions,can be used as an effective means to conjoin interfaces involved in language use.
