摘要
2019年7—12月,山东大学考古学系、安徽省文物考古研究所对安徽肥西县陈墩遗址进行考古发掘,发现城墙、壕沟、灰坑、灰沟等遗迹,出土印纹硬陶、石器、瓷器等遗物。通过发掘确认陈墩城址的始建年代不晚于西周中期,为研究淮河流域西周城址提供了重要资料。
From July to December 2019,the Department of Archaeology of Shandong University and the Anhui Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted an archaeological excavation at the Chendun Site in Anhui’s Feixi county.The excavation revealed a range of ancient traces of walls,trenches,ash pits,and ash ditches,and unearthed a number of artifacts of printed pottery,stone,and porcelain wares.The excavation confirmed that the Chendun Site was built no later than the middle of the Western Zhou dynasty,providing important information for the study of Western Zhou city sites in the Huaihe River basin.
