Developing A New Future-oriented Library Service System for the General Public

文章简述佛山市图书馆家藏图书共享服务“易本书”项目的创意和功能;分析易本书项目对解决公共文化资源有限性与民众的精神文化需求日益增长的矛盾,公共文化产品供给不足、服务供需对接不充分,以及公共文化资源配置及使用率有待提高、公共文化数字服务能力发展不平衡等普遍问题的现实意义。易本书项目的创新实践走出了城乡公共文化服务一体建设新路,为基层公共文化共建共治开出了一剂良方,在建设面向大众的以人为中心的图书馆、搭建技术赋能的智慧图书馆应用场景等方面进行了新探索,让佛山市公共文化服务体系更加完善、更具效能,为广东“文化强省”建设提供了“佛山经验”。

This paper briefly introduces the innovation and functionalities of Ex-Book project,a family-ownedbook sharing service,analyzing its relevance to addressing such problems as the contradiction between people’s ever-growing intellectual and cultural needs and limited and scarce public cultural resources,the undersupply of public cultural products,the insufficient synergy between supply and demand,the need to improve resource allocation and utilization,and the imbalance in the development of digital public cultural service capacity.The innovative practices of Ex-Book project,which have established a new path for the coordinated development of public cultural services in urban and rural areas,propose a solution for promoting public culture and its governance based on collaboration and participation.The paper advocates building people-centered public libraries,creating technology-enabled smart library application scenarios,improving Foshan city’s public cultural service system and making the system more effective,thus providing Foshan’s experience for building Guangdong Province with strong culture.
