摘要
柳州螺蛳粉作为“网红小吃”,产品远销海外多个国家和地区,但其英文宣传广告却十分有限。为了扩大柳州螺蛳粉的海外市场份额,发挥地方小吃文化的传播效应,文章基于广告设计及翻译相关理论,根据英语国家文化习俗、语言表达特点及广告翻译原则等,从味道、音译、文化、外观和品牌等五个方面探讨柳州螺蛳粉广告设计及英文翻译方略。
As one of the most popular and best-selling local snacks in China,Liuzhou Lousifen(river snail rice noodle) has been exported to overseas.However,there is no any English slogan about this famous snack.Based on the linguistic features and translation principles,this paper explores the design of English slogan of Liuzhou Lousifen from five aspects,such as taste,transliteration,culture,appearance and brands,and provides reference for the slogan design and English translation of Chinese local snacks.
