摘要
在经济全球化背景下,越来越多的跨国公司希望进入中国的电子游戏市场。电子游戏的汉化是电子游戏本地化的重要组成部分,但国内目前对于电子游戏本地化的实践性研究较少发展也很缓慢。本文在结合一些常见的翻译策略包括音译、译创等前提下对电子游戏术语、标题、界面和文本汉化进行了研究和分析。结果表明,一个通俗化的翻译策略往往是一个电子游戏良好汉化的关键。
In the context of economic globalization,an increasing number of multinational companies yearn to open the Chinese game market.The development of video game localization in China seems slow,and relatively few researchers and teams are engaged in professional game localization.This paper is dedicated to exploring better video game translation strategies by analyzing E-C translations of video game terms,titles,UIs and texts.The result shows that a pragmatic translation strategy is preferred in E-C translation of video game localization.
