This paper introduced the optimization design of structure for the manual brake device applied for one railway operation vehicle.By adding the mechanical structure such as spiral transmission device,strip hole,sleeve with length adjustment,locking device,etc.,the one-way brake of the manual brake device was achieved and improved its running safety.
