华裔美国文学是美国文学中的一个重要分支。自20世纪七八十年代以来,越来越多的华裔作家在美国文坛涌现。他们在创作过程中以独特的文化身份和生存体验再现中国形象,以文学作品为工具向西方读者传播中国文化。这是中国文化“走出去”的较早方式,也是华裔作家们参与国际文学创作与批评的实践之举。该文从文化传播和文化自信的维度分析华裔美国文学中的中国文化,有利于探究华裔作家自信的文化书写态度和传播中华优良文化的历史事实。

Chinese American literature is an important branch of American literature.Since the 1970s and 1980s,more and more Chinese writers have emerged in the American literary world.In the process of creation,they reproduce the image of China with their unique cultural identity and survival experience,and use literary works as tools to spread Chinese culture to western readers.This is the earliest way for Chinese culture to"go out",and it is also a practice for Chinese writers to participate in international literary creation and criticism.This paper which analyzes Chinese culture in Chinese-American literature from the perspective of cultural communication and cultural self-confidence is conducive to exploring the confident cultural writing attitude of Chinese-American writers and the historical facts of spreading fine Chinese culture.
