数字金融、数字鸿沟与居民消费 被引量:12

摘要 利用中国家庭金融调查(CHFS)数据和北京大学数字普惠金融指数,对数字金融、数字鸿沟与居民消费之间的关系进行了实证检验。研究发现:数字金融发展不仅能够显著促进居民总消费,还能通过拉动高档商品消费、抑制基本商品消费,促进消费结构优化升级,且这种影响具有滞后效应;数字金融对居民消费总效应的影响在城乡之间没有显著差异,但数字金融对数字鸿沟的影响作用具有显著的城乡异质性,数字金融通过弥合数字鸿沟扩大居民消费的作用主要体现在农村组;数字金融对数字鸿沟的弥合是扩大居民总消费的重要机制,实现该机制的关键在于提高农村居民对计算机、互联网、电子支付、网络购物等数字技术的应用能力。 This paper used the data from the China Household Finance Survey(CHFS) and the Peking University Digital Financial Inclusion Index to empirically test the relationship among digital finance,digital divide and household consumption.It was found that digital finance could significantly improve the total consumption of residents.Meanwhile,digital finance could also promote the optimization and upgrading of consumption structure by boosting the consumption share of high-end goods and inhibiting the consumption share of basic goods,and this influence had a lagged effect.The impact of digital finance on the total effects of household consumption didn't have obvious differences between urban and rural areas,while the impact of digital finance on digital divide had remarkable urban-rural differences.And digial finance has expanded household consumption through alleviating digital divide mainly in rural sample group.The key to this important action mechanism was to strengthen rural residents' application ability of digital technologies,such as computer,the internet,electronic payment and online shopping.
