Reading is one of the main forms of human spiritual and cultural activities.Since 2014,the national reading work has been elevated to the height of government work,and China has officially entered the era of national reading.In the hurricane of information technology development,university libraries are facing the transformation of the new era,and the clarion of national reading provides fertile soil for the development and optimization of university reading promotion activities.This paper will analyze the influence of smart library technology on the reading promotion mode in colleges and universities,and summarize the main characteristics of reading promotion under the background of the smart library in colleges and universities,and investigates the new mode and new direction of reading promotion in colleges and universities.
