In order to respond to the strategic demand of national food security and comply with the development trend of national food industry,this paper takes the characteristic teaching platform of virtual simulation experiment of food warehousing and processing as the starting point and,from the aspects of project construction significance,construction goal,construction plan,project effect and so on,discusses the application and development technology of modern information technology and virtual simulation technology in daily experiment teaching,such as virtual reality,human-computer interaction and so on.The experimental teaching of virtual simulation assisted by modern information technology not only fully integrates professional theoretical learning and practical skills,but also an important development trend of the current experimental teaching reform.
