As a new tool for information acquisition in the crystallization of artificial intelligence technology,ChatGPT far exceeds any previous retrieval and search tools.Its emergence is a landmark achievement in the development of artificial intelligence.Through the methods of observation and literature research,the article proposes that Internet technology is an unprecedented revolution in information technology and a new leap for human beings in transforming nature,which will bring human civilization to a new level.ChatGPT is an AI development based on the Internet,both in terms of collecting and training bigdata as well as operating with high computational power operation.ChatGPT will have an impact on certain industries,such as consulting,but will not replace any profession currently.Based on the current stage,this paper argues that the impact of ChatGPT on education mainly takes place at the higher education level,where it can improve the efficiency of learning and research,potentially affect educational assessment and evaluation,and stimulate the education of academic creativity and critical thinking.Regardless of technological development,knowledge remains the cornerstone of individual well-being and social development and is the core resource of modern society.The primary and secondary education is still necessary.The key to promoting social progress is to expand educational opportunities and improve the quality of education,enabling as many people as possible to receive higher education.
