《仙授理伤续断秘方》为我国现存最早的一部中医骨伤科专著,全书共一卷,分为两大章节,第一章节为“医治整理补接次第口诀”,主要论述治伤14个步骤及各种整骨方法,方药应用等;第二章节为“又治伤损方论”,叙述了扑打伤损的用药次序。该书建立了骨折基本的诊断方法,发明了拔伸、牵引骨折整复手法,创小夹板外固定法等,且重视手术切开复位疗法,对开放性损伤清创的处理做了详细描述,并指出清洗创口时不能单纯用生水清洗,必须要用经过煎煮的开水或药水。该书认为,骨伤科疾病主要以气血损伤为主,治疗以调理气血、活血化瘀为要,方用小红丸、大红丸、当归散、四物汤等,药用人参、当归、芍药、阿胶、熟地黄等补益气血。此外,还根据损伤不同时期的临床表现,建立了七步服药法,并分别附以方药。书中记载外用方10首,其中洗药方、贴药方各5首,数量虽不多,但使用范围广泛,涉及各种骨折损伤病症,且各方注明了用法及适应证,为骨折愈合与功能恢复提供了有效的治疗方法。

Secrets of Treating Wounds and Rejointing Fratures Handed Down by an Immorta is the earliest existing monograph on TCM orthopedics and traumatology in China.The book consists of only one volume which is divided into two major chapters.The first chapter is the"Formula for Treating,Organizing,and Supplementing Injuries",which mainly discusses the 14 steps of treating injuries,various bone repair methods,and the application of formulas and medicines.The second chapter is"Treatise on the Formulas for Treating Injuries",which describes the medication sequence for treating injuries.This book establishes the basic diagnostic methods for fractures,invents techniques such as extension and traction for fracture reduction,and invasive splint external fixation.It also emphasizes surgical open reduction therapy,provides a detailed description of the treatment of open injury debridement,and points out that when cleaning wounds,it is not necessary to simply use raw water for cleaning,but must use boiled water or medicinal solution.The book states that the diseases of orthopedics and traumatology mainly focus on the injury of qi and blood,and the treatment should focus on regulating qi and blood,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.Minor Red Pills,Major Red Pills,Chinese Angelica Powder,Four Substances Decoction,etc.,and medicinal Renshen(Radix Ginseng),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Shaoyao(Radix Paeoniae Alba seu Rubra),Ejiao(Colla Corii Asm),Shudihuang(Radix Rehmanni-ae Praeparata),etc.are used to supplement qi and blood.In addition,a seven-step medication method is established based on the clinical manifestations of different stages of injury,and the related fonnulas are attached separately.The book records 10 external formulas,including 5 washing ones and 5 sticking ones.Although the quantity is not large,the scope of use is wide,involving vari ous fracture and injury diseases.Each formula has indicated the usage and indications,providing effective treatment methods for fracture healing and functional recovery.
