颠覆与含纳——新历史主义视域下《别让我走》中的命运悲剧与权力书写

Subversion and Containment——An Investigation into the Tragic Destiny and Power Writing in the Novel Never Let Me Go from the Perspective of the New Historicism

以新历史主义学者格林布拉特有关权力的颠覆与含纳模式为框架,运用权力规训、身份认同等相关理论、观点,对日裔英国小说家石黑一雄小说《别让我走》中克隆人悲惨命运的成因做出一种新的诠释:权力压迫下的抵抗会被遏制、含纳,进而参与权力的强化。克隆人的反抗行为,逆向加剧了权力对他们的奴役与剥削。通过展示权力遏制并含纳颠覆性因素这一复杂过程的展示,石黑一雄传递出其对权力的敏锐认知以及隐晦却深刻的批判。

Based on the theoretical frame for the subversion and containment of power proposed by a New Historicism scholar Greenblatt,new illustrations into the reasons for miserable destinies of human cloning mentioned in in the Japanese-British novelist Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel Never Let Me Go could be concluded by using the theories and opinions relevant to power and identity.The resistance under oppressive power is going to destined restrained and contained,and subsequently strengthens the power in return.In other words,the resistance of human cloning inversely aggravated the enslavement and exploitation by power.Kazuo Ishiguro conveyed his sensitive cognitions on the power,attached with implicit and profound criticisms via the demonstration on the complicated procedure for the power’s restriction and containment of subversive factors.
