The Modernization of Fine Traditional Chinese Culture

党的二十大报告提出,以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴是新时代新征程中国共产党的使命任务。考察世界现代化进程,文化现代化是现代化的重要内容,特别是后发国家在现代化发展进程中,必然面临如何正确处理“现代性”要求和传统文化的关系的问题。就中国共产党的百年奋斗历程来看,文化现代化是党不断追寻的目标。文化现代化,很重要的一个方面是如何正确认识和对待传统文化。在新时代的文化建设中,实现传统文化的创造性转化、创新性发展是传承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化的根本方针。实现中华优秀传统文化的创造性转化、创新性发展,可以从以下方面探索具体实践路径:一是通过对优秀传统文化资源的再阐发,赋予其新的内涵和意义;二是通过深入挖潜,在吸收优秀传统文化资源养分的基础上创造新的形态;三是挖掘优秀传统文化的思想观念、人文精神、道德规范,将其融入当代文化建设;四是提炼优秀传统文化的精神标识,向世界展示中华优秀传统文化的生命活力。

The report to the 20th CPC National Congress proposes that the central task of the Communist Party of China in the new journey of the new era is to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization.In the modernization process of the world,cultural modernization is an important element of modernization,especially in these latecomer countries,which are?bound to handle the relationship between the imperatives of modernity and traditional culture.In the century-long struggle of the CPC,cultural modernization has been a consistent goal.The crux of the matter is a correct understanding of how to treat traditional culture.Creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture is the fundamental policy of inheriting and promoting the fine traditional Chinese culture in the new era.To this end,there are several practical paths:firstly,giving the fine traditional cultural resources a new life through reinterpretation;secondly,creating new forms of fine traditional cultural resources on the basis of absorbing the nutrients of them;thirdly,tapping into the ideological concepts,humanistic spirit and moral codes of fine traditional culture while constructing modern culture;and the fourth is to refine the spiritual identity of fine traditional Chinese culture and demonstrate to the world its vitality.
