进驻高新区是否提高了企业产能利用率?——来自企业进驻高新区的准自然实验证据

Does High-Tech Zone Increase Capacity Utilization of Firms:Evidence from a Quasi-natural Experiment of Companies Moving into the High-Tech Zone

相比于区外,高新区具有更优质的营商环境,而且集聚还能带来劳动力池共享、信息外溢和技术外溢等正向外部性影响。这能够帮助企业降低市场不确定性并提高企业的创新能力,从而帮助企业提升产能利用率。本文以高技术企业为研究样本,使用双重差分模型证明进驻高新区能够帮助企业提升产能利用率。平行趋势检验和安慰剂检验保证了模型设置的合理性。根据企业产权性质进行异质性检验结果表明,无论是国有企业样本还是非国有企业样本,高新区提升企业产能利用率的结论依旧成立,而且高新区对企业产能利用率的提升不因产权性质而有所差异。

High-tech zones have a better business environment than out-of-area zones,and agglomeration can also bring positive externalities such as labor pool sharing,information spillover and technology spillover.This can help companies reduce market uncertainty and improve their innovation capacity,thus helping them to improve capacity utilization.In this paper,we use high-tech firms as research samples and use the difference-in-difference model to demonstrate that moving into high-tech zones can help firms improve their capacity utilization.Parallel trend test and placebo test ensure the reasonableness of the model setting.The results of heterogeneity test according to the nature of enterprise property rights show that the conclusion that high-tech zones enhance the capacity utilization of enterprises still holds for both state-owned and non-state-owned enterprise samples,and the enhancement of capacity utilization of enterprises in hightech zones does not differ according to the nature of property rights.
