V.A.Moiseyev is a famous Russian scholar studying the history of international relations in Central Asia and Oriental studies.This paper gave a brief introduction to his academic career,especially his achievements in the fields of the history of international relations in Central Asia and Oriental studies.At the same time,it evaluated the content,viewpoints,characteristics and values of his representative work Russia and China in Central Asia.While pointing out the shortcomings of the work,this paper affirmed its important historical data and reference value in related researches.
