迟子建的长篇小说中的审美意蕴表现在三个方面;一是悲情人生的书写,以自然界的生死写人的生死,探讨人性恶、欲望与命运三者之间关系,表现了残缺、死亡和孤独这三大母题。二是意象及意象组合的运用,把抒情、叙事、哲理融为一体,有丰富的意象和丰富的隐喻。把不同时空的单个意象以叙事或情感流的方式联系起来,形成了文本内在的意象系统。三是诗情画意与凄美悲壮相生的美感。诗意语言与梦幻叙述相交织,表现不可避免的悲剧冲突及死亡。

The aesthetic implication in Chi Zijian's novels is reflected in three aspects;The first is the writing of tragic life,which discusses the relationship among human evil,desire and fate,and shows the three motifs of missing,death and loneliness.For the Second,the use of imagery and image combination integrates lyric,narrative and philosophy,with rich imagery and rich metaphor.The images of different time and space are connected in the way of narrative or emotional flow,forming an internal image system of the text.Thirdly,the poeticand tragic beautythe poetic language interweaves with the dreamlike narrative to show the inevitable tragic conflict and death.
