“大华语”视域下两岸三地外语影片中文译名比较研究

A Comparative Analysis of the Chinese Translation of Foreign Language Movie Titles in Mainland-Taiwan-Hong Kong from the Perspective of“Greater Chinese”

我们从大华语视域出发,选取两岸三地共计94部影片的中文译名作为语料,运用定量分析法和对比分析法,发现同属于华语“内圈”的内地、香港地区和台湾地区在外国影片译名的翻译上既存在差异又有着相似之处,受粤方言影响香港地区的电影译名中存在使用方言词汇的情况。两岸三地外语电影译名既有直译,同时也会根据内容进行意译,受到共同语的影响,相当多的电影译名在用字用词、句法结构以表义方式上呈现出一定共性。在众多影响因素中,汉语文化的传承以及三地丰富的文化特色对影片译名有着重要影响。

From the perspective of“Greater Chinese”,we selected the Chinese translations of 94 foreign language movie titles in Mainland-Taiwan-Hong Kong as the corpus,and used the methods of quantitative analysis and comparative analysis to find that the Mainland,Hong Kong region and Taiwan region,which belong to the“inner circle”of Chinese,have both differences and similarities in the translation of foreign language movie titles.Under the influence of Cantonese dialect,there are some dialect words used in the translation of movie titles in Hong Kong region.In the three places,there are both literal translation and free translation based on the content in the translation of movie titles.Influenced by the common language,a considerable number of movie titles show some commonalities in the terms of word usage,syntactic structure and signification.Among the many influencing factors,the inheritance of Chinese culture and the rich cultural characteristics of the the Mainland,Taiwan region and HongKong region have an important impact on the translation of movie titles.
