This article introduces the process of Professor JIA Menghui’s diagnosis and treatment of intractable hiccups with the idea of“coherence between medicine,image and number”,which reflects his clinical characteristics of being good at combining medicine with medicine,combining acupuncture and medicine,and using images and numbers.Professor JIA pointed out that medicine and Yi are basically one body,and images and numbers are actually one family,which can be used in combination with each other.Applying this idea in clinical practice can often achieve the purpose of seeing the fire clearly and seeking the root of the disease.Diagnosis and treatment of diseases by using the idea of medical-easy-image-number correlation has remarkable clinical curative effect and is worthy of further discussion.
