中国行政区划名称的英译研究

A Study of the English Translation of the Names of Administrative Divisions of the People's Republic of China

中华人民共和国行政区划名称有着自身的特色,体现着我国独特的行政区域划分方式。本文以我国现行的几部立法文本的英译本为研究对象,在文本类型理论和静态对等翻译策略的指导下,基于《布莱克法律词典》等权威词典,通过定量统计分析方法,对我国四级行政区划名称的英译进行对比研究,旨在规范我国行政区划名称的英译,讲好中国法治故事,助力我国法治国际传播。

The names of administrative divisions of the People's Republic of China have their own characteristics and reflect the unique administrative division method of China.Under the guidance of text typology theory and static equivalent translation strategy,this paper conducts a comparative study on the translation of the names of the four levels of administrative divisions in China through quantitative statistical analysis methods based on authoritative dictionaries such as the Black Law Dictionary,aiming to standardize the English translation of the names of administrative divisions in China,tell the story of China's rule of law,and help the international dissemination of China's rule of law.
