Rolls-Royce Getting Ready to Test its UltraFan Technology Demonstrator

摘要 On December 19,2022,Rolls-Royce announced it has completed the UltranFan technology demonstrator build and is preparing for the test at Testbed80 in Derby,UK.The UltraFan is the largest aircraft engine ever constructed.Unlike other engines typically developed with a specific plane in mind,the UltraFan will not power any aircraft.Instead,it is a technology demonstrator program,which allows Rolls-Royce to test various sustainability solutions that can then be applied to other projects.
