也谈“管”的多功能用法及其来源——以早期北京话文献为考察中心

About the Polyfunctional Pattern and Origin of Guan(管)--An Examination Centered on the Early Beijing Dialect

通过对“管”的多功能用法,即作介词表“处置”义、作语气副词表“一定”义、作无条件连词表“任意选择”义的分析探讨,发现这些功能都是从动词“管”的“管理”义直接或间接演变而来。因此认为“管”经历了多向的语义演变过程,即“管理>处置”“管理>保证>强调”“管理>保证>必然”“管理>理会>任意选择”。

This paper analyzes and discusses the polyfunctional pattern of the morph guan(管),that is,as a preposition,it expresses the meaning of“disposal”,as a modal adverb,it expresses the meaning of“certainly”,and as an unconditional conjunction,it expresses the meaning of“random disjunction”,It finds out that these patterns all evolved directly or indirectly from the meaning of“manage”of the verb guan(管).Therefore,it believes that guan(管)has experienced a multi-directional semantic evolution process:“management>disposal”“management>guarantee>emphatic”“management>guarantee>necessity”“management>respond>random disjunction”.
